I am currently at Kenan-Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina. My research interest is primarily in the area of sustainability and social enterprises. My research pertains to the complementarity between commercial and social missions of firms. I am studying different forms in which firms benefit through their social missions. I have worked on food sustainability, the outreach of health and nutrition, agricultural resource management, and related areas which are among the impending issues of current times. Presently, I am exploring these and other areas of social and environmental impact in developing and least-developed economies around the world.
Areas of interest: social impact, social entrepreneurship, developing, and least developed economies, impact assessment, the global diffusion of sustainability goals.
