I am currently working for Bill & Melinda Gates Agricultural Innovations as a Research Associate. I have a Ph.D. from the Kenan-Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina. My research interest is primarily in the area of sustainability and social and environmental impact with a focus on food and agriculture industries. I study innovations and sustainability initiatives to understand how their impact can be maximized in developing economies as well as how the effect of climate change can be mitigated through agricultural technologies. As a mixed methods researcher, I use a vast range of research methodologies in my work including quantitative methods (field experiments and RCTs, regressions, sentiment and content analysis, event-study, etc.) and qualitative methods (inductive analysis, qualitative comparative analysis, case comparison, etc.). I have experience of on-the-field data collection, survey execution, and field experimentation in Asia, Africa, and Latin America (remote). I have worked on food sustainability, the outreach of health and nutrition, agricultural resource management, and related areas which are among the impending issues of current times.
Areas of interest: food and agriculture sustainability; climate action, social and environmental impact; developing, and least developed economies.
